Aluminised Meta & Para Aramid
Inherently flame retardant and usually worn as a layered system.
This material is designed to deflect extreme radiant heat from the wearer.
Aramid FR Viscose
This blend is inherently flame retardant, provides high comfort, moisture wicking and is available in a range of weights and colours.
FR Treated Cotton
Widely used, budget wise, durable flame retardant treated cotton. It holds the comfort of natural fibre cotton and can be used in applications including; protection against spark and molten ferrous metal splash and where low level heat and flame protection is required. Not recommended for use around molten ?white metals? such as magnesium and zinc or in critical static applications.
FR Treated Cotton & HT Nylon Blend
Flame Resistant Cotton with High Tenacity Nylon Blend. This blend increases the strength and abrasion resistance of the fabric and enhances its protective performance when exposed to electric arc and flash fire. Not recommended for use around molten ?white metals? such as magnesium and zinc or in critical static applications.
FR Treated Cotton with Anti Static
Carbon fibre component conducts static electricity away from the wearer while providing the comfort and breathe ability of natural cotton fibre.
Layered Solutions
Air entrapment within textiles and between layers maximises thermal protection, whether against heat or cold.
Meta Aramid Para Aramid Carbon Blend
Highly durable, inherently flame retardant with anti static carbon fibre, permanent colour retention, exceptional alkali/acid and mildew resistance, this blend has excellent abrasion, tear and tensile strength that can be used in firefighting turnout ensembles, emergency and police services, petrochemical and utility industries.
Moisture Membrane
A range of hydrophillic and microsporus membranes that allow moisture vapour egress and prevent entry of contaminant liquids. usually laminated to woven/knitted outer fabrics.
Non Woven Para Aramide
Inherently flame retardant maximises air entrapment when applied as a thermal barrier.
OPAN Para Aramid
Oxidised Polyacrylonitrile has a superior Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) and extreme flame and radiant heat protective values. Blending OPAN with Para aramid delivers a high tensile, flame resistant and ultra strong fabric.
Para Aramid
A high risk solution that delivers maximum strength, excellent flame, cut, puncture and penetration resistance. Often blended with other fibres to enhance abrasion resistance, tear and tensile values.
PBI Para Aramid
High strength inherently resistant to flame and radiant heat, retaining suppleness and structural integrity after exposure to flame. Ideal for firefighter turnout apparel.
Wool
A most popular and widely used natural fibre, wool is commonly blended with other fibres to accommodate a wider range of applications. Inherently self extinguishing, due to its high water content and chemical composition, wool can be used in many PPC applications.
Wool FR Viscose
This structure of wool/flame resistant viscose gives a unique wicking effect, which enhances moisture absorption to aid the cooling process. This fabric is ideal in industries where molten metal splash protection is required.
Wool FR Viscose Cotton
With a blend of two natural fibres and a synthetic fibre, this fabric exudes soft handfeel, wearer comfort and is available in different weights to suit various applications. Commonly used in Industries as protective workwear. Not recommended for use as chemical and fire turnout ensembles.
