Although the Base fabric in 325gsm has its own arc rating of 11.5 cal/cm², our Switch Coat varies in protection depending on its specific protective point in the garment. Ranging from 38 cal/cm² with H.A.F at 92.5% all the way up to 95 cal/cm² with a H.A.F of 96.9%
The Switch Coat as with other Ohmtec product is designed around the impact of Heat Stress on the individual wearer. As a result, material density varies in areas on the garment less likely to be at direct risk of an arc event.
